Donate extra Halloween candy to troops

OK. So, it's the day after Halloween. You're probably just waking up from a "sugar coma" after eating all that candy you raided from your childrens' stash! :-) Your sweet tooth is throbbing from sugar overdose. Your kids are bouncing off the walls from all the sugar they've ingested last night.

OK, I'm done with the metaphors. Seriously, here is what you can do with all your left over candy. Donate them to our troops, who are fighting to protect our country and our freedom. Operation Gratitude has been spearheading this effort since its inception in 2003. Last year, Operation Gratitude received and distributed over 530,000 pounds of candy.

The organization has over 350,000+ volunteers who send, on average, more than 200,000 care packages every year.

To donate your Halloween candy, or to make any other kinds of donation, is very simple; click here: Donation Signup. Halloween candy is accepted from Nov. 1st to Nov. 3rd.

Thank you for your supporting our awesome troops.
