What's Happening in Atlanta?
As residents of Atlanta (and its suburbs), we are very fortunate to have access to so many attractions and fun places to visit. From the Georgia Aquarium (the world’s largest), to the Centennial Olympic Park, CNN, the World of Coke, Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield, Stone Mountain Park, etc... --too many to list -- the attractions are within a short drive and appeal to all ages and interests.
One new attraction, finding a recent home in Atlanta, is the College Football Hall of Fame (CFHoF), where you can view your favorite college football team and take part in interactive games and activities. It’s a college football fan’s paradise!
So, as part of their Educator Day, on Saturday, July 30th -- the CFHoF is offering FREE admission to teachers and principals with valid identification. Any day is a good day to visit the College Football Hall of Fame. But, if you’ve been holding out for a good opportunity to visit, and you are an educator, now is your chance to take advantage and experience this awesome place. When you go, make sure to visit the Chick-Fil-A Fan Experience on the 2nd floor, and also pay homage to my alma mater the Maryland Terrapins! :-)
